Black conservative Angela McGlowan announced her run for the congressional first district of Mississippi in the Republican primary June 1, 2010.  After digging around a bit it seems that McGlowan has made a significant push to be involved in the “Tea party” movement.

I have serious doubts about the McGlowan’s actual impact in the Republican primary, while Nunnelee has a web site and has been actively promoting himself for some time, McGlowan has no campaign website. McGlowan’s personal web site is still focused on her role as Fox commentator and author — mainly as a “landing page, ” as opposed to a fully developed web site, while her professional business web site has a “coming soon page.”  Looks can be deceiving, many sites keep sites under wraps until a “big bang” public announcement; however, given that announcement passed…

I’m unimpressed given her resources.

Black Conservative Angela McGlowan to Run for N. M.S. House Seat

admin | February 9th, 2010 - 1:45 am

Angela McGlowan, a conservative commentator on Fox News, plans to run in the Republican Primary for a Congressional House seat in northern Mississippi. The congressional district is the first congressional district of Mississippi, which comprises Southaven, Grenada, Tupelo, Columbus, and Corinth.  The seat is currently held by Travis Childers a Democrat, and a member of the “fiscally conservative” “blue dog” coalition of House Democrats.  It appears there are two other challengers in the Republican June 1st, 2010 primary looking to challenge Childers.

Angela McGlowan’s web site states she is a Fox News Analyst, political activist and best selling author.
